Caption: Porthallow Cove (S. side).
Description: Porthallow Cove (S. side). Porthallow, south-east side of cove, face view of breccia between the boundary faults. On the left (south) are Lizard rocks (mica schist and augen granite-gneiss) on the right (north) are reddened slaty killas dipping steeply south-east. On the shore are many large fallen blocks of granite-gneiss. Between the two faults is a mass of breccia, containing mica-schist, green schist, granite gneiss, killas etc. The northern fault runs obliquely across the face of the cliff. K = killas B = breccia G = granite gneiss MS = mica schist.
