Caption: Nottingham Brick Co. Carlton Road. . Nottingham Excursion, 14th May 1913.
Description: Skerry in Keuper Marls. The thin bands of sandstone are locally known as skerries. When several bands are close together and divided by narrow beds of shale as seen at the top of the section it forms a 'skerry belt' causing a plateau surface.
