Description: Duff House, Banff viewed from the Temple of Venus, Banffshire. Flood plain of the River Deveron near its mouth at Banff. Slopes on right are largely covered by glaciofluvial sand and gravel, those on the right and distance are irregularly covered by till and underlain by the Dalradian Macduff Slate Formation. Irregularities on flood plain represent drainage channels.
