Description: N. bank of River Medway, Upnor. Looking NE. River sculpture. View at the north end of Chatham Reach where the Medway has cut into its left bank. Lower London Tertiaries outcrop under the houses and along the foot of the hills in the distance. The tree-covered slopes of these London Clay hills are all landslipped, apparently due to the undercutting by the river.
