Description: Capel Crag, 450 yd. NW of [trig. point] 810 on Tongue How. Looking E. Coarse agglomerates, Borrowdale Volcanic Series. Steeply-dipping agglomerates mostly of angular Latterbarrow Sandstone with some blocks of rhyolite tuff weathering white. The angularity and rough stratification suggest deposition by water and an immediately adjacent source of origin.
