| Description: | One of the characteristic isolated 'inselberg' type mountains that are a distinctive part of the scenery in the North-west Highlands. The sandstone mountains often form long narrow ridges, this one is viewed broadside, compare it with D01187 which is the same mountain but viewed end on. Torridonian sandstone showing marked weathering along joints and bedding planes to form buttresses and pinnacles and large scree slopes now becoming vegetated. |
