The hollow is a glacially over-deepened valley leading into the flats of the Badanloch Forest. The nearer loch, Loch a' Bhealaich is a simple rock basin separated by a moraine from the farther, Loch Choire, again a simple basin with a depth of 151 feet (seen in detail C03155). |
