Large moraine at foot of mountain spur between tributary valleys. River Feshie is a braided stream flowing in a broad alluvial plain, which widens further where Allt Lorgaidh (right) joins River Feshie (left). Large lateral moraine on lower slopes, centre, where material was deposited at confluence of glaciers. Mountains made of Grampian Group psammite (metamorphosed sandstone). Note screes beneath crags, left of centre. |
