Description: | View looking down Coire Lair, Achnashellach, Ross & Cromarty. Glaciated surfaces, moraines and later screes. Typical U-shaped glaciated valley with steep rocky sides, and glacially smoothed rock exposures in floor. In the distance large spreads of hummocky glacial deposits were laid down during deglaciation. The Torridonian rocks to the right tend to form near-vertical cliffs, while the Cambrian quartzite to the left breaks into smaller fragments, which form extensive screes. |
