Within the ring of eucrite crags, to the right, is the curving ridge of Sithean Mhor, separated by a valley from another ridge inside it, to the left. Both ridges are composed of fluxion-gabbro, and the inner forms part of the ring-dyke of Glendrian which encircles a central area of lower ground occupied largely by more acid rocks, tonalite and quartz-monzonite. |
