Description: Approximately 1100 m. west of Bathing Pool, Dunbar, East Lothian. Small cryptovolcanic neck on a wave-cut platform west of the Parade Neck. North Berwick Law and Bass Rock in background. Collar' of steeply-dipping country rock surrounding completely disrupted sandstones, cementstones, shale, with some tuffaceous material, bounded to north by thin quartz dolerite dyke. (Hammer 12 inches.) Cryptovent in cementstone/shale facies strata of the Calciferous Sandstone Measures, Carboniferous.
