Suilven, a relict mountain of reddish-brown Torridonian sandstone with basal conglomerate resting on an irregular basement of Lewisian gneiss. The Lewisian-Torridonian contact follows approximately the base of the screes and the line of the low cliffs at the right of the picture. |
