Description: Stretton Sugwas Gravel Pits, Hereford. Slumped laminated silts and till. View looking towards 110 degrees The till of the lower central part of the face is dipping by about 30 degrees to the north-north-east and contains a 0.3 m. fine, silty sand lens about 3.5 m. from the top. The till is overlain discordantly by laminated silts forming a synclinal structure on the right. The lowest laminated beds are only present in the trough and contains layers of till slumped off the till on either side.
