Description: Road-cutting, Barton Mills, Mildenhall. Boulder clay. Site preserved by G. and G. Sieveking, British Museum. It was originally believed that two boulder clays were present within the frame but now thought to be only one, with variation in chalk content. The boulder clay exposed in the A11 London to Thetford road-cutting, is an isolated outcrop away from the main plateau.
