Description: | Sandy Geo, near Russa Taing, west coast of Westray. Orkney. Natural arch in Rousay Flags folded into an open syncline. The development of the arch would have begun by the formation of caves on either side of the small headland, the caves would join to form the arch and eventually the roof would collapse to leave an isolated sea stack. |
