Part of a panorama of the third and final centre of the Ardnamurchan Tertiary central igneous complex. The ridge in the distance and the rocks in the left foreground are part of the Great Eucrite ring-dyke. It forms a complete ring of hills rising up to 250 metres above the general level of the surroundings. Centre 3 of the Ardnamurchan Tertiary central igneous complex forms the largest and most complete set of ring intrusions in the British Isles. Part of a panorama with C02807, C02808, C02809. |
