Description: | South-east of Clyth shore, 2.4 km. east of Lybster. Caithness. Three sea stacks isolated by erosion along joints with long axes trending parallel to cliff. The stacks are of Old Red Sandstone, Middle Devonian, Helman Head Beds dipping gently to the south, and have a topping of boulder clay covered by peat which is undergoing removal by wind and spray erosion. |
