Description: | West of Cullen. Banffshire. Raised beach with old sea stacks cut out of Old Red Sandstone conglomerate. In the distance is the town of Cullen. A close-up of the large isolated sea stack with the smaller stack at its landward end seen in C01489. The stack is situated on a raised beach, now above sea level. The stack shows some development of caves, again, formed due to earlier wave action. |
