The ground has a slight inclination to the left (north). The gravel caps an isolated hill of Kimmeridge Clay at a height of about 150 feet above the River Divelish. In the background, ? mile distant, is Banbury Hill (Kimmeridge Clay), which bears a thin remnant of the same, or a similar, gravel-spread. |
