| Description: | 1/4 m. W. of Christ Church, Radlett. Looking SW. Cutting along the line of a new road. The section shows about 15 feet of glacial gravel on a sloping surface of Reading Beds. The latter consist of an irregular band of clay, about 2 feet thick, much contorted in places, resting on an 8 foot bed of Hertfordshire Pudding stone. The floor is in fine white loamy sand which has been proved to a depth of seven feet. |
