Description: | View down Glen Etive from Dalness. Looking south-south-west. Argyllshire. The glen here follows a shatter belt or fault zone and is cut almost entirely in granite. The hummocky ground extending across the valley just beyond the gate is a terminal moraine. It represents debris pushed along in front of the glacier that occupied the valley during the last ice age. |
