Description: | Fox's Cave, The Settlings, Little Haven. Looking ENE. Unsymmetrical anticline in massive Coal Measure sandstones; also cave excavated along a fracture which has given access to a bed of Carbonaceous shale and fireclay underlying the sandstone. The anticline has a strong westerly pitch and the north side is steeper than the south. The light band along the foot of the cliff is the area washed by tides. |
