Description: | 400 yd. S. of Black Point, Haroldstown West. Looking NE. An overthrust fault from the north, apparently terminating at both ends in unfaulted beds near the top and bottom of the cliff (here 150-200 ft.). In reality the thrust follows the bedding planes in the lower part of the cliff then suddenly breaks across and again probably follows the bedding in the upper part of the cliff. Some beds are cut out by the horizontal thrust near the foot of the cliff. |
