Description: | Summit of Roughtor, Camelford. Looking NNW. Granite tor. The wind and rain drive with great force against these exposed 'tors', so that the highest blocks all tend to weather to the shape here shown; the wind 'blows' away the decomposed material between the block. At times the developing of the form is carried on till the higher stone rests on a very small rounded base and will rock on the lower 'Logan Stone'. |
