Description: | A dull dark grey, brown-mottled dolomite. Composed of granular and semi-recrystallized dolomite, of grain 0.01 - 0.1 mm, in which thin-walled shell fragments are present. Angular quartz grains are abundant; muscovite, biotite, iron ore, brown phosphatic fossil fragments, shreds of carbonaceous matter and grains of pyrite are accessory. A few large crinoid fragments are still calcite and enclose small rhombs of dolomite. Dolomite, calcareous, arenaceous, fine-grained, clastizoic. SL0022. Britrocks S34543. Magnification x40.
