Description: | Land's End. Land's End. Granite coast scenery. Sea erosion, acting along joints in the granite, produces caves, natural arches and clefts in the cliffs, locally known as zawns. A small example of a zawn is seen in the foreground. The rock with the arch is Enys Dodman. The Longships rocks and lighthouse are in the distance. The rock above Enys Dodman is Armed Knight and the spray above it, to the right, is casued by Kettle's Bottom rock (see also No. A7507). |
