Description: 1/2 m. W. of Portledge, Ford. Looking E. Breccio-conglomerates of Triassic Age forming cliffs at Portledge. This outlier of Triassic rocks is of interest in being the most westerly remnant of such rocks in North Devon. Some 16 miles south-east a long narrow syncline of Triassic beds extends eastwards to the main mass near Exeter.
