Description: Irvinestown, County Fermanagh. Looking SW. Boulder clay in brick pit. Note the variability of boulder sizes. Erratics include limestone of Carboniferous age, dolerite from the nearby Irvinestown dyke, and sandstone of Lower Old Red Sandstone age. In working the clay for bricks the large stones have to be hand-rejected at an early stage.
