Description: Port Ganney. Lower Basalt lavas form the foreshore in the foreground and the lower cliffs in the distance. The Interbasaltic Bed is seen on the distant cliffs and underlies the tongue of sea in the middle distance. The tholeiitic basalts form the Giant's Causeway in the middle distance, the cliffs above it, and the upper cliffs in background.
