Description: Snow three metres thick obscuring critical exposures in the Geal Charn-Ossian Steep belt on Geal Charn (1049 metres), Dalwhinnie district. The snow in the Highlands normally melts each year but if the climate got colder the patches would enlarge from year to year, and corrie glaciers would start to form in places like this.
