Description: Quarry at Oldfallow, about 1 m. N. of Cannock. Looking NNE. Lenticular beds of gravel and semi-consilidated sands. Gravels except near base consist of small unpitted pebbles. The large boulders near base are of red soft sandstone (? Keuper) and are seen on the stone-heap. The section about 30 ft. in height is entirely in glacial drift.
