At the top are revolving screens for sizing the run of mine ore. Oversize is recrushed in rolls (on lower stage) and returns to the circuit by the short belt rising upwards to the left. The coarser size passing through the screens (over ? inch) is treated in jigs, and the fines further subdivided by Stokes hydrosizers (on lower stage) into three grades which are fed to tables. (The old quarry is seen in the background.) |
