Description: Point Quarry, West Williamston, Carew. Looking ESE. Caninia Oolite (Carboniferous Limestone Series) with a 'pipe' of clay-mudstone of C2 age. The 'pipe' extends from the hammer at A to the top of the oolite at B; the upper part is empty but the lower is still full of clay-mudstone, which as in A959, is part of the basement-bed of C2. Compare A960, in which, however, the infilling of the 'pipes' is still in continuity with the basement-bed. (The dip is low and the 'pipe' approximately at right-angles to the bedding.)
