Description: | Treberwith, S. of Tintagel. Seaward end of modern valley with small canyon. This is a hanging valley, but raised only a few feet above sea level. The stream is cutting a small canyon through the lava which is rich in calcite, by a series of potholes and cascades. On the right of the stream the gentle 'dip-slope' is seen, and on the left the steep scarp. |
