Description: Tributary of Ardale Beck 1. Looking ENE. Gently dipping Alston Group sequence exposed in the southern tributary of Ardale Beck. Below the highest waterfall in the middle distance, formed by the Smiddy Ganister, the Smiddy and Robinson Limestone crop out. Above the Lower Little (at stream junction), Jew (prominent crags) and Tyne Bottom Limestones come on, with crags of Whin Sill at top of photograph.
