British Geological Survey Biostratigraphy Collection number GSE 15112. It is a uniserial form with two reclined stipes and this specimen comes from the gracilis Biozone. Fossils such as Dicellograptus and other graptolites have been used in establishing stratigraphical time scales for the Lower Palaeozoic and have been used as a zone fossil since the mid-nineteenth century.
