Description: Hengwym, Uwchygarreg. Looking SW. Valley-bottom drift. A general view of the valley-bottom drift and recent scree which is present below Creigiau Bwlch Hyddgen. Valley-bottom drift in the centre of the view consists of ill-sorted gravels ('morainic drift') overlying glacial clays. Slopes in the former have therefore been unstable and have slipped.
