Description: Roadside quarry, 520 m. at 277 degrees from Cefn-y-groes fawr, Llansannan. Lower Nantglyn Flags Group. Ribbon-banded mudstones typical of the Nantglyn Flags. Note the development of concretions, particularly the manner in which bands in the mudstone bend around concretions at their margins but pass straight through at their centres.
