Description: Orpington, 700 yd. ESE of church. Looking NE. Scraped hillside of Chalk with piped Thanet Beds. The aligned solution tend to anastomose into a more or less continuous mass on the north. Rising ground to the east consists of unscraped topsoil with disturbed Tertiary sand, loam, flints and pebbles and pockets of drift.
