Description: Stanton Wick Reservoir excavation near Clutton. Looking SE. Bulge in south face of excavation. The face of the excavation runs roughly east - west and the photograph is taken looking south-east along the axial plane of the fold. Folded and contorted Upper Rhaetic clay with a prominent band of Cotham Marble is seen at the base, overlain by marly White Lias with more massive White Lias limestone above.
