Description: Stanton Wick Reservoir near Clutton, Somerset. Detail of bulge on south face of reservoir. The Upper Rhaetic clay contains a lenticular band of Cotham Marble, and shows a relatively simple anticlinal structure. The lower and more marly part of the overlying White Lias shows more complex folding. The upward increase in complexity is characteristic of many bulges.
