Description: Ninn Lodge Quarry, 1/2 m. NW of Great Chart. Looking N. Section in steeply-dipping and faulted Hythe Beds. The Hythe Beds consist of alternate layers of ragstone, a hard, jointed sandy limestone, and hassock, a softer calcareous sand. A vertical fault, seen as zone of finely broken, rubbly material a foot or so in width, cuts across this section, the beds on the right (eastern) side having been downthrown several feet respectively to those on the left.
