Description: 25 yd. E. of spot height 1032 ft. on Challacombe-Simonsbath road, about 1/2 m. from Challacombe. Looking W. - WNW. North Exmoor floods, 1952. A view taken 105 yards south of the locality named showing the gully or gorge formed by a temporary stream produced by storm water collected on the Challacombe-Simonsbath road. The exposure shows strongly contorted Ilfracombe Beds shale. The shales are bending sharply over the hill creep. See also A8759, A8761, A8763, and A8770.
