Description: | Haddiscoe Pit (Atlas Aggregates) 800 m. SE of Haddiscoe Church. Kame terrace sands and gravels. Well-rounded flint gravels overlying planar and cross-bedded sands. The gravel is lithologically similar to the classic Westleton Beds described in north-east Suffolk, here however, they contain fragments and occasionally large rafts of the underlying sands. |
