Description: Threecliff Bay, Penmaen, Gower. Looking SE. Meander in tidal portion of river, Penard Pill, in order to pass between a storm beach obstructing the eastern side of the valley and dunes of blown sand which jut out from the western side. Upstream of the storm beach saltings occur the commencement of which can be seen on the extreme left of the photograph. Distance shows flat surface of 200-foot platform.
