Description: | Hollychrome Brick Co.'s Pit, near Warmley Station, Warmley near Bristol. Dykes' and 'veins' of crushed coal cutting steeply inclined mudstones with nodular ironstone. The mudstone is sheared and highly jointed and the coal veins cut the mudstone almost at right-angles to the bedding. Lower Coal Series, south limb and eastern end of the Kingswood Anticline. |
