Description: | Treveddoe Mine, Warleggan. Looking NE. Treveddoe Tin Mine. A large, ancient openwork on the killas granite junction that worked on a series of interlaced veins carrying tin and some copper ore. The mine has worked the low grade deposit intermittently for many years, using water power, and was revised during the 1939-45 war. The view shows the incline to the modern workings in the bottom of the old openwork. |
