Description: East Pool Mine. East Pool Mine: Rogers Lode. Rogers Lode exposed in the back of the 1,600-ft. Level west of Taylor Shaft. The light patch on the left is granite and the line between this and the darker part is the footwall of the lode, which dips north (right). The lode consists of highly tourmalinized granite or schorl rock traversed by irregular quartz veins (white) and containing chloritic peach (showing dark) as irregular patches or as margins alongside veins of quartz.
