Description: East Dartmoor. Looking SSE. Granite scenery: Haytor (left Saddle Tor and Rippon Tor (right), Dartmoor. A view of the three principal tors of eastern Dartmoor. They rise from the 1250 ft. plateau; the steeper slope is on the north-east side of each tor. They consist of hard, fissured porphyritic granite traversed by aplite veins.
