Description: Hayne Down, about 1 m. SSW of Manaton, East Dartmoor. Looking NE. Granite scenery: Bowermans Nose, Dartmoor. The mass consists of porphyritic granite dissected by joints and 'flows'. The joints course generally north-west and north-east while the flows assume wedge shapes. Collapsed masses of granite are features of these crags.
